Here are some of the messages we received from parents who have had children enrolled at Bethel Lutheran School for more than two years.

Bethel has a small intimate learning environment that stimulates learning. Each child is recognized as a special member of the Bethel family and the teachers and staff are loving and caring. Communication is good all around and the teachers are sensitive to the child’s and parent’s needs.

The Blackburn/Chin Family (Elementary)

Bethel's full-time preschool is not like other private preschools that overly emphasize the academic curriculum and discipline. Teachers are nice and the educational program is paced so that my boy gets enough education from day-to-day classes and still has plenty of fun in the indoor or outdoor activities. One proof to support this is that in the past 8-plus months at Bethel, my shy boy never said, "I don't want to go to school" when he wakes up in the morning.

The Chang/Liu Family (Full-Day Preschool & Jr. Kindergarten)

Bethel is the best school that I found for my two girls. It offers a balanced education in a loving and supportive learning environment. My whole family loves Bethel.

The Chern/Su Family (Full-Day Preschool & Elementary)

Bethel Lutheran School has a loving atmosphere, small class sizes and individualized attention, as well as a developmental approach to learning. Bethel creates an environment that encourages a "love for learning." Our son is learning things in kindergarten that constantly amaze me. Bethel Lutheran's approach to reading and phonics is much more intuitive and interesting to our son than the traditional "drill and grill" methodology employed at other schools. Although I am Catholic, I find it appealing that God and the Bible are introduced in a wonderful way throughout the day and not just in a religion class. We were also impressed by the diversity of activities available in the after-school program as well as the availability of a full-time summer program that combines outdoor fun, learning AND swimming!

Milo Family (Elementary & Extended Care)

Bethel supports our belief that confidence instilled in children who know they are special because God made them and loves them is the most valuable tool children can have for future success. Chapel and daily devotions reiterate the lessons taught at our home and church that Jesus Christ is God's gift to us, a personal savior. Bethel provides a positive, nurturing, loving environment for my daughter to learn this as well as the academics needed to maximize her God-given gifts.

The Wallace Family (Preschool Half Day, Elementary & Extended Care)

We chose Bethel as the school for our daughter because she gets a Christ-centered quality education in a very loving and friendly environment, which helps not only in her academics, but in her overall character development.

The Thomas Family (Elementary, Extended Care & Summer)

We chose Bethel because of the wonderful atmosphere--the children are well taught and loved by the staff around them and best of all they are in an environment where the truth of God and His promises are part of their daily walk. The AM/PM Club is outstanding. We wouldn't expect to find any before- and after-school program that is better. It would have been great if we had a place like that when we were kids.

The Nicholson Family (Full-Day Preschool, Elementary, Extended Care & Summer)

Bethel Lutheran School gives our children the opportunity to embrace God along with their education. We never expected the care and learning (and not just the educational school learning) that our children receive from everyone at Bethel. Our children's needs are met to the fullest and our expectations have been exceeded far beyond what we had ever hoped they would receive. The teachers are truly remarkable and very loving and caring and make each child feel like they are the most important child in that class and that teacher’s life. Our children adore their teachers and when home sick or on vacation, tell me over and over again how much they miss that teacher. We believe in their teachers and know that they are giving them the most positive start on their education and that they will thrive and have a more positive attitude about their schooling and will continue to want to go to school--even when they are sick.

Having twins and making a difficult choice in separating them in their first year of school was a hard thing for us, as parents, to do. The teachers and staff at Bethel have shown us that this was the best choice that we could have made. The twins have grown physically, mentally and spiritually and have become their own person, apart from the other twin, whom they each had grown to depend on and make choices for one another.

Bethel is the best choice that parents could make and the best gift that they could ever give their child(ren). They not only get an education, but they get the love that each teacher and staff member there has to give, as if they were an extension of their own family, which means that they give the best that they have got to offer.

The Davis Family (Elementary & Extended Care)

Our decision to choose Bethel Lutheran School was because we heard from many people that it was a "good school". It was not until our son attended for a few days that we understood what that means. Bethel Lutheran gives every child the individual attention required to maximize the educational experience. Bethel Lutheran shows its students how to praise God in their daily lives (not just on Sundays). Finally, Bethel Lutheran structures its environment to be in the best interest of the education its students receive.
